Batrachian Self-Regard

So the thing that hasn’t been said with this new job (many things haven’t been said and I don’t know whether or not they shall be said) is that my well of creativity is as dry as the corner of my eyes.

This is not true.  It’s more like the door to my creativity appears welded shut just enough that I can pretend the door isn’t there as I walk by.  The seams practically melt away.

So 500 words feels like a hell of quota right now.  Now that I have to come in 30 minutes earlier for my start time – 30 more minutes pay vs. 30 less minutes sleep but I am in zero position to bargain on the matter.   I can do something more than nothing, though, so here I am putting my two cents in.
